Kindle Fire Devices 2026 Edition
Effective Date: June 1, 2026 | Last Updated: June 1, 2026
Introduction
Welcome to Antivirus for Fire Tablets – Virus Cleaner & Malware Protection (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our security application on Amazon Kindle Fire and compatible Fire OS devices.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. By downloading and using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use and uninstall the App.
This App is designed to help protect your Kindle Fire device from viruses, malware, spyware, junk files, and other digital threats. All data collected is used solely to provide, maintain, and improve these security and optimization features.
1. Information We Collect
(a) Information You Provide Directly
The App does not require account registration or personal account creation. However, if you contact our support team, we may receive:
This contact information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
(b) Device & System Information (Automatically Collected)
To provide core antivirus and optimization functions, the App automatically collects the following technical information:
This information is used exclusively for security analysis, performance optimization, and service improvement.
(c) Scan Data
When you run a virus or malware scan, the App accesses your device storage and installed application list. This includes:
File contents are never transmitted to our servers. Only anonymized hash signatures are compared against our cloud threat intelligence database to identify potential threats. Scan results are stored locally on your device only and are deleted when you clear app data or uninstall the App.
(d) Network Information
The App checks your Wi-Fi and network connection status for the following limited purposes:
The App does not capture, log, or transmit your network traffic, browsing history, or the content of any network communications.
(e) Usage & Analytics Data
We may collect anonymized, aggregated analytics data to understand how users interact with the App, including:
This data cannot be used to identify you personally. It is used solely to improve App stability, performance, and user experience.
2. Permissions Explained
The App requests only the permissions necessary to perform security and optimization functions. Below is a full explanation of each permission and its purpose:
INTERNET
Required to download updated virus definition files, malware signature databases, and threat intelligence from our secure servers. Without this permission, the App cannot stay current against new threats. This permission is also used to transmit anonymized analytics and display in-app advertising.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
Allows the App to check whether a network connection is active before attempting to download updates or sync threat signatures. This prevents unnecessary battery drain or data usage when the device is offline.
ACCESS_WIFI_STATE
Allows the App to check whether the device is connected to a Wi-Fi network. This is used to intelligently schedule background virus definition updates over Wi-Fi to reduce mobile data usage, and to provide basic network security status information within the App.
KILL_BACKGROUND_PROCESSES
Allows the App’s performance optimization feature (RAM Cleaner / Junk Cleaner) to terminate background processes that are consuming device memory and battery. This is used only when you explicitly trigger a cleanup action within the App. The App does not automatically terminate processes without your consent.
READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (up to Android API 32)
Allows the App to scan files stored on your device’s external storage for malware, viruses, spyware, and other threats. Only file metadata and cryptographic hash signatures are read; the actual contents of your personal files (photos, documents, videos) are not transmitted to our servers. This permission applies on devices running Android 12 (API 32) and below, in compliance with platform requirements.
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (up to Android API 29)
Required on older Fire OS versions (Android 9 / API 29 and below) to quarantine or delete detected malicious files from your external storage after you confirm the removal action. The App only writes to storage when you explicitly choose to delete or quarantine a detected threat. This permission is not used on devices running Android 10 (API 30) or higher.
Query Installed Applications (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES / Launcher Intent)
The App queries the list of installed applications on your device in order to scan each app for known malicious signatures, suspicious permissions, and security vulnerabilities. Application package names and version codes are checked against our threat database. No personal data within your installed apps is accessed. The list of installed apps is processed locally and is not stored on our servers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
(a) Service Providers
We may share limited, anonymized data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the App. These include:
All service providers are contractually required to protect your data and may only use it for the specific services they provide to us.
(b) No Sale of Personal Data
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.
(c) Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or restructuring involving our business, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or an in-app notice and will continue to honor this Privacy Policy.
(d) Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information where required by law, regulation, court order, or government authority, or where necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of our users, ourselves, or others.
5. Advertising
The App may display advertisements served by third-party advertising networks (such as Google AdMob, Amazon Publisher Services, or similar platforms). These networks may use cookies, device identifiers, and IP address information to serve personalized advertisements based on your interests and usage patterns.
Third-party advertising networks operate independently under their own privacy policies. We do not control the advertising content they display or their data collection practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any advertising partners.
You may opt out of interest-based advertising on your Kindle Fire device by navigating to Settings > Security & Privacy > Interest-based Ads on your device.
6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
The App itself does not use browser cookies. However, third-party advertising and analytics SDKs embedded in the App may use device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID) and similar tracking technologies to measure ad performance and analyze usage.
You can reset or limit the use of your advertising ID on your Kindle Fire device through device settings.
7. Data Storage & Retention
Scan results and threat detection logs are stored locally on your device and are under your control. You can clear this data at any time through the App settings or by clearing the App’s data in your device settings.
Anonymized analytics and crash report data may be retained on our servers for up to 12 months for service improvement purposes, after which it is automatically deleted.
If you contact our support team, your contact information and inquiry details are retained for as long as necessary to resolve your issue and for a reasonable period thereafter, not exceeding 24 months.
Data we hold in association with your device is deleted upon uninstallation of the App to the extent technically feasible.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:
While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no digital system can guarantee absolute security. We encourage you to keep your device and the App updated to benefit from the latest security improvements.

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., security resource pages or advertising partners). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through the App.
12. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including Pakistan and other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction. Where such transfers occur, we take steps to ensure your data is protected in accordance with applicable laws and this Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, App features, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy within the App or on our Amazon listing page, and by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document.
